PURPOSE OF THIS FUND
Know Limits is a narrative television project centered on Colin, an autistic lacrosse superfan who uncovers corruption within professional lacrosse. While the story carries compelling dramatic stakes, its core is rooted in identity, resilience, integrity, and the lived reality of navigating autism alongside a co-occurring seizure disorder — portrayed with nuance, humanity, and respect rather than stereotype.
To date, we have already produced a proof-of-concept music video for Know Limits, which has been circulating the film festival circuit and serving as an early demonstration of tone, character, and visual language. This proof of concept has helped us begin conversations, build momentum, and confirm that there is real appetite for this story when it is told with care and intention.
This project is deeply personal to us. Our best friend is on the autism spectrum, and our family includes a sibling with cerebral palsy. Because of these relationships, we approach Know Limits with a responsibility to collaborate, listen, and portray lived experience with honesty — not shorthand or inspiration tropes.
We are now raising funds to produce the Know Limits television pilot, a critical next step that will allow us to:
Assemble key creative and technical collaborators
Cover production and post-production costs for the pilot
Position the project for festivals, buyers, and industry partners
Your support directly contributes to the creation of a professional, high-quality pilot designed to open doors — not only for this project, but for broader conversations around representation and whose stories are given space on screen.
This is not about starting from scratch.
